I suggest that it is the purpose of the newly formed Covenants Committee to review the Covenants, Resolutions and Regulations in the light of their original intent, and make recommendations for amendments that will clarify that intent. I don't believe it is the committee's charter to increase the restrictions or regulations on the property owners.
If anyone wants to increase a particular restriction or regulation, you should make that known to the committee either by email, written letter or through this message board.
In the days to come, I will be posting the various topics in the Covenants and Regulations that need addressing an input. I hope that HOA members will use this forum to express their ideas, suggestions, concerns and wishes.
